Drake and Chris Brown would be relieved, as both singers reportedly will not be facing criminal charges stemming from their alleged involvement in an NYC brawl this summer.
TMZ’s police sources say there isn’t enough evidence to charge both Drake and Chris Brown (along with their respective entourages), so the case will not be moving forward. Police adds that there will be no further investigation.
The case involved a bottle-smashing brawl at WIP nightclub on June 14th, which was rumored to be a fight between Chris Brown and Drake over Rihanna. Police sources told TMZ that surveillance video in the club was no use due to its dark and blurry images.
During the brawl, Brown suffered injuries to his face from a flying bottle, while clubgoers, bodyguards and several other people were also injured. NBA star Tony Parker was there that night and has sued the club for $20 million over the incident, claiming his eye was injured as a result of the riot.
