Chris Brown signs modeling contract

Chris Brown is at the top of his game with collaborations here and there, performances everywhere… and now, he’s is adding “model” to his résumé.

Women’s Wear Daily reports that Wilhelmina International has signed Chris Brown to its artist management division, as part of Brown’s goal of broadening his reach with future fashion and beauty endorsements, as well as licenses for the singer.

Wilhelmina International director Taylor Hendrick tells WWD, “Chris Brown is a…multifaceted artist with a unique take on style, and we are excited to translate and extend his brand.”

Chris Brown said in a statement that “art and style has always played a significant role in my life — it’s evolved with me throughout my career.”

Although Brown was charged with felony assault on his then-girlfriend Rihanna back in 2009, the singer has proven he could still sell albums… and with this new gig, it just goes to show that his image has improved significantly.
