Although “The Fifty Shades trilogy” was developed from a Twilight fan fiction that featured characters inspired by Stephenie Meyer’s characters in Twilight, Edward Cullen and Bella Swan, Kristen Stewart isn’t a fan of the erotic book series.
The 22-year-old actress talked to Backstage magazine and was asked if she read ’50 Shades’ and what she thought about the popular series. Kristen replied, “Not really—I’ve skimmed parts of it. When I read the first few pages describing her messy hair, I was like, ‘This is so strange.’”
Kristen added that she thinks no one should read the book in public, explaining, “But it’s just so raunchy! I mean, obviously, everyone knows that. But when I see people reading it on planes and stuff, I’m genuinely creeped out. Like, you’re basically just reading porn right now! Get that blanket off your lap!”
Like the Twilight Saga, Fifty Shades will also be adapted into the big screen. As Kristen embarks on the last promo tour for “Breaking Dawn Part 2,” many 50 Shades fans are cheering on their chosen leads for the upcoming film.
