Tyra Banks has talked about the changes to America’s Next Top Model.
The 19th cycle, which will premiere next month, will feature college students exclusively and will include audience participation for the first time.
Banks told Access Hollywood, “We’re calling it ‘Fierce Friday Foursome’, meaning me, Kelly Cutrone, Rob Evans and the fourth judge is the home audience, which we’ve never done before.”
She also described Cutrone as “absolutely fantastic” and “almost the star of that judging row”, saying: “We have a photo shoot with shoes and the girl is modelling her ass off with those feet and so Kelly combines shoes and smize in a way, I was like, ‘Damn! I usually come up with the new words!’ But she invented a new word.”
Banks also revealed that Evans is “very difficult to look at for longer than three seconds at a time”, adding: “It’s intimidating, but then you get to know him and he becomes family and very warm.”
America’s Next Top Model will premiere on August 24 on The CW.
