Adele has said that she didn’t think 21 would sell in America.

The ‘Rolling In The Deep’ hitmaker confessed that she had her doubts about her sophomore album, particularly when it came to the United States.

The 23-year-old singer told Entertainment Weekly, “I was saying, ‘I don’t think this record is going to do anything. I can’t feel the buzz in America.”

She recently announced that she will release a new song by the end of 2012.

Adele previously said that she had recorded music for the next James Bond movie Skyfall, which is due in theatres on November 9 in the US.
