Ashton Kutcher is set to return to “Two and a Half Men” for another season, and once filming begins, the actor will be receiving a whopping $1 million per episode.
After completing his one-year deal to replace Charlie Sheen for the most recent season of “Two and a Half Men,” Kutcher is negotiating his return for another season.
While Charlie Sheen took home $1.25 million per episode before being fired from the hit CBS sitcom last spring, Ashton earned $700,000 an episode for his first season on the show.
Now, Ashton is reportedly asking $1 million to continue working for another season. Since “Two and a Half Men” retained its viewership even if its original lead got booted from the show, it’s safe to say he’ll be getting a huge pay increase this year.
“Men” creator Chuck Lorre only had good things to say about Kutcher, explaining “I don’t see any reason to continue without [Ashton]. He’s a delight, he’s a really nice man and he’s a really easygoing guy, he’s very relaxed and very professional. He shows up and he’s ready to work, he’s prepared and he brings it.”
