Sean Kingston’s friend has spoken out about the accident that the two were involved this past weekend.
On Saturday evening, Cassandra Sanchez met up with friend Kingston in Miami with two other friends to ride jet skis.
She recalled the events before the serious water sports accident which led to Kingston being admitted to hospital.
She explained to TMZ, “Both jet skis pulled out of the dock at the same time and we were going so fast we just blasted past them.’
“When we turned a corner and crashed, they were so far behind us they didn’t even see us crash.”
Sanchez recalled that as the two approached the bridge where the accident happened she had screamed out to warn Kingston that they wouldn’t be able to fit underneath.
“[I screamed,] ‘We can’t fit under there! Are we going to try and go under there? Sean Stop!'” she explained.
Sanchez also said that the two were riding so fast that Sean lost control and crashed as he tried to turn away from the bridge.
She said that she remembers waking up in the water and seeing Kingston “coughing up blood, foam and pink stuff”, before they were both helped to safety.
Sanchez suffered minor bruises in the accident but is fine overall, and said that her concern right now is for Kingston, who is said to be in a stable condition.
