Prince Prince William and Catherine Middleton finally tied the knot.
The couple exchanged vows at Westminster Abbey on Friday — taking on the new titles of Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.
The 29-year-old Duchess, went through the doors of Westminster Abbey after making an immediately-iconic entrance in a custom-designed wedding gown by Alexander McQueen’s Sarah Burton with her father Michael and sister Pippa at her side.
Middleton was greeted by her groom for the first time.
Duke William said, “You look beautiful.”
After walking down the aisle with her father, the couple stood at the altar as the Archbishop of Canterbury conducted the simple ceremony.
“William Arthur Phillip Louis, wilt thou have this woman?” asked the Archbishop.
“I will,” William replied.
“Catherine Elizabeth, wilt thou have this man?”
“I will,” the bride said.
The Archbishop declared,”I pronounce that they be man and wife together”, after William placed the ring on his love’s finger.
