Mel Gibson has said he doesn’t care if he never acts again.
In an interview published by Deadline.com, the actor said “it’s not a problem” that he may never
work in front of camera again.
Last month, the “Edge of Darkness” star was sentenced to three years probation at a domestic violence case involving his former girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva.
The actor was allegedly recorded making threats to Grigorieva in tapes leaked online last summer but Gibson claimed in the interview that the tapes were edited.
He said, “I’ve never treated anyone badly or in a discriminatory way based on their gender, race, religion or sexuality – period.
“I don’t blame some people for thinking that though, from the garbage they heard on those leaked tapes, which have been edited.”
The 55-year-old actor who is reportedly planning to to work with Braveheart screenwriter Randall Wallace again stated when asked about the project,”He’s got this script and he’s had it for years.
“I don’t know if it’s going to get off the ground.”
