One of the coolest auctions out of Hollywood has been announced, and you can get some pretty sweet and iconic items, if you have the cash.
It is a movie collector’s dream: the sweater The Dude wore in The Big Lebowski, a real Everlasting Gobstopper from Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, a Cinderella drawing signed by Walt Disney himself, and perhaps most impressive, the actual car from Chitty Chitty Bang Bang (minus the flying, of course).
All of it, and more, are part of the Profiles in History Auction, taking place in Beverly Hills this May.
While all of it is awesome, I think the best item that will be up for grabs are the actual gloves Sylvester Stallone wore int he first Rocky. How amazing would it be to have those? You just know that even the most professional collector would be staging a mock match against a friend dressed as Apollo Creed.
I would pay to watch that.
