Adam Sandler got his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in front of the West Hollywood Hotel.
The ‘Happy Gilmore’ star was presented with the 2,431 star for Motion Pictures by Hollywood Chamber of Commerce CEO, Leron Gubler and guest speaker Henry Winkler, who was his co-star in the movie “Water Boy”. Kevin James who appeared with Sandler in “I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry” was also part of the ceremony.
“This is a big deal,” the funnyman said. “I feel honored and can’t believe this has happened in my life.”
In 1987, Sandler started his career in comedy on ‘The Cosby Show’ and was eventually hired on Saturday Night Live as a writer thress years later.

Sandler’s latest film ‘Just Go With It’ will hit theaters on the February 11, 2011.
