Chris Brown reportedly completed his year-long course in domestic violence counselling after his assault of former girlfriend Rihanna.
As part of his conviction for felony assault, Brown was sentenced to take part in the programme in 2009 along with six months of community service as well as five years of probation. Superior Court Judge Patricia Schnegg congratulated Brown for completing the programme. It was also confirmed that the singer will no longer have to attend regular progress meetings in court according to reports.
The judge also suggested that she might consider lifting the restraining order, which prevents Brown from coming within 100 yards of Rihanna, at a later date.
