Director Darren Aronofsky has revealed the title to Hugh Jackson’s upcoming Wolverine film – “The Wolverine.”
Aside from revealing the title to HitFlix, Aronofsky also said that the movie is a “one-off” so fans won’t expect this film to be a sequel to ” X-Men Origins: Wolverine.” Inked by “The Usual Suspects” & “Valkyrie” writer Christopher McQuarrie, “The Wolverine” is based on the 1982 Chris Claremont and Frank Miller Wolverine miniseries. In the movie, you’ll see Logan battling ninjas and faced with politics of the Tokyo criminal underworld.
The Wolverine star Hugh Jackman said last month, “This is, hopefully for me, going to be out of the box. It’s going to be the best one, I hope. Well, I would say that, but I really do feel that, and I feel this is going to be very different.”
The production for “The Wolverine” is set to begin in March, first in New York, then in Japan.
