Pussycat Dolls’a Nicole Scherzinger feels uneasy in her early days as a poorly dressed member of the female group. The reason for not being comfortable with her former stage outfits is because it is far cry from her own “conservative” clothing. The Pussycat Dolls started off as a burlesque dance group recognized for their sexy garments. Nicole revealed that growing up in Louisville, Kentucky has made her a conservative lady and claims that she felt uncomfortable displaying too much flesh when performing.
In Britain’s Cosmopolitan magazine, the star stated, “Growing up, I was very conservative in my wardrobe, so when I first joined the Pussycat Dolls, the biggest challenge was wearing those cabaret costumes. I didn’t feel comfortable showing my body so much, showing my legs and butt, chest and midriff.”
“I wasn’t used to it so I had to really grow as a woman and learn to accept myself and my body, find that inner confidence and strength and love myself for who I was.”
