Kristen Stewart is facing another crazy media attention with the upcoming release of “The Twilight Saga: Eclipse” and she isn’t pleased with the attention. In fact, she told Britain’s Elle magazine that being put on the spotlight day-in, day-out almost feels like being raped.
The 20-year-old Twilight star said: “What you don’t see are the cameras shoved in my face and the bizarre intrusive questions being asked, or the people falling over themselves, screaming and taunting to get a reaction. The photos are so … I feel like I’m looking at someone being raped. A lot of the time I can’t handle it. I never expected that this would be my life.”
Stewart also told Elle that it is annoying to get asked by reporters if she and co-star Robert Pattinson are dating. She explained, “Why would I want anything that’s private to become entertainment for other people?…People say that if I just tell them everything I’ll be left alone, but God, you think if I tell people they’ll leave me alone? They pick up every little scrap, and that’s much worse.”
The July issue of Britain’s Elle magazine hits newsstand on Thursday. “Eclipse,” the third film in the highly successful movie franchise, will be released on June 30.
