Numb3rs star David Krumholtz and actress Vanessa Britting got married at the Plaza Hotel in NYC on Saturday.
The couple, who were engaged in Paris in July 2008, tied the knot in a non-denominational ceremony in the historic hotel’s terrace room. Aside from 180 guests, groomsmen Seth Rogen and Jay Baruchel as well as Krumholtz’s Numb3rs costars Rob Morrow, Judd Hirsch and Peter MacNicol witnessed the couple’s special day.
The couple’s wedding planner Michelle Rago told People.com, “They wanted a classic Manhattan wedding.” She added, “They’re a perfect compliment to each other. You can tell they’re old souls. They have incredible mutual respect and make all decisions as a couple. I predict they’ll be married for ever and ever.”
The theme of their wedding was a Midsummer Night’s Dream-inspired celebration, featuring pale pink and blue spring flowers, hundreds of candles and butterflies. Vanessa wore a Rivini-designed wedding gown. The ceremony lasted 30 minutes, which was followed by cocktails set-up on a terrace. After the three-course dinner at the hotel’s grand ballroom, the 14-member big band Jimmy Vali kept the guests on the dance floor ‘til midnight.
