George Clooney lives in a lovely, serene Lake Como villa, but there are just some things you don’t want to find near his estate-such as an arsenal of WWII bombs.
According to Britain’s Daily Mail, a group of military personel removed a deadly arsenal of explosives, including grenades, mortars and aircraft bombs from the waters of Lake Como, just less than 50 feet away from Clooney’s home. The arsenal was found after a fisherman got an explosive, and not fish, from the bottom of the lake.
An area of the lake close to the actor’s home has been sealed off by authorities, and divers were sent to retrieve more explosives underneath. These are said to be detonated in a cave later on.
