Hollywood’s Burglar Bunch Member Says He’s Sorry

The showbiz world was rocked late last year by a series of burglaries in the homes of various celebs such as Lindsay Lohan, Paris Hilton, Orlando Bloom and Audrina Patridge. This time however, one of them says he’s sorry for committing the crime.

“I’m just really trying to make whatever amends I can, especially to these celebrities that I victimized,” says Nick Prugo, who has been charged with seven counts of burglary. “I really want them to know that I’m sorry. I’m not really sure how I’m going to do that yet. But I really plan on making some formal apology to them. I just don’t know how they’ll react.”

While Prugo confessed his crime last year, his cohorts meanwhile have pleaded not guilty.

According to Prugo, the burglaries were done for no real reason, and he did it with his friend, Rachel Lee, who pleaded not guilty to the crime.

“We just did it. I know it sounds dumb, but Rachel just wanted the clothes. She wanted to look pretty,” he says. “I was just following Rachel. I loved her almost like a sister.”
