CBS owes it to the Grammys. After six long years, it’s only now that the network enjoyed the highest TV audience.
Preliminary Nielsen results were released on Monday, with the CBS broadcast of the Grammy Awards garnered 25.8 million viewers, marking the music show’s highest ratings since 2004. The star-studded event came out to be more than just an awards show, but a gathering of musicians and a concoction of astounding performances, which, according to Grammy winner Taylor Swift, is history in the making.
Following CBS is ABC, with 9.1 million viewers, and coming third was Fox with 4.3 million.
