Kanye West has gotten his hands back to the keyboard, and now he’s got a new post on his blog.
The rapper and fashion chameleon, posted a new entry in his blog, this time ranting about his fur fashion sense, which garnered not only media attention, but also the dismay of animal rights groups.
Kanye was spotted wearing fur coats at the Paris Fashion Week together with his gal pal, Amber Rose.
“When it’s all said and done, remember the fearless, remember the dreamers, remember those who represent the ghetto… the fairy tale of nothing to something,” he said in all caps at his blog post on Friday. “I’m briefly saddened by negative comments, but I have to remember those people are scared, incapable or just plain idiots. We are the f**king rock stars baby, no cocaine, just life.”
He also took a strike on all the fashion bloggers who spoke against his outfits, with “dress mad prude and don’t live fashion.”
“Clothing is a choice,” he said. “No more politics or apologies!!!!”
Of course, PETA Vice President Dan Matthews was not at all happy with Kanye’s fashion preferences.
“Kanye can’t help making himself look like an idiot, whether at an awards show or a fashion show,” he said in a statement. “He and his girlfriend look like pathetic creatures from a shabby roadside show.”
The street fashion blog The Satorialist featured Kanye and his furry coats, and the entry garnered around 400 comments, most of which are negative.
“The poster boy for everything wrong about celebrities, and wears fur… Ugh,” says one comment.
There are others however, that support the rapper’s fashion sense. One comment from the same blog says, “he so deserves to be on here… that fur collar is gorgeous.”
