If you missed your chance to help the victims of the Haiti quake via George Clooney’s star-studded telethon, it’s not too late. Sean “Diddy” Combs, Queen Latifah and Pharrell Williams are planning to host another telethon concert to further extend help.
The upcoming “SOS Saving OurSelves-Help for Haiti” will be presented by BET, and will air on Friday, Feb. 5 on BET, VH1, MTV and Centric live from the American Airlines Arena in Miami, Florida. Among those who will perform include Lil Wayne, Mary J. Blige, Chris Brown and Wyclef Jean.
Jean previously hosted the “Hope for Haiti Now” telethon, which garnered around $66 million and as well produced a top-selling charity album.
Pepsi and Procter & Gamble will sponsor the charity event, and donations will be sent directly to Yele Haiti, Project Medishare, CARE and Children’s Safe Drinking Water.
