Brittany Murphy’s sudden, unexpected death back in Dec. 20 is considered by her husband to be wrongful, and he’s out to make those at fault to pay.
British screenwriter Simon Monjack plans to file charges against Warner Brothers for the wrongful death of the actress, according to the Daily Beast.
Murphy, who died at the age of 32, was reportedly fired by the studio two weeks prior from taking part of the sequel of the animated film “Happy Feet,” in which she was suppose to surprise the role of Gloria.
“She was devastated,” he says. “They killed her.”
Her cause of death has not yet been released, but her mother, Sharon, and her husband, believe that she suffered from a heart attack due to the cancellation of her contract.
“I am tough,” he continues. “I litigate when somebody does something wrong to me. That’s one of the reasons I make enemies.”
Murphy’s marriage to the British scriptwriter surprised many. He says, “I was never the right guy to marry Brittany. She was supposed to marry a young dashing star with a million-dollar smile. She wasn’t supposed to end up with a balding, heavy guy who doesn’t play by their rules.”
