Hollywood’s awards season begins on Wednesday, as the People’s Choice Awards will grace the Nokia Theatre this Wednesday, at 9 p.m. EST.

Around 60 million votes were cast in choosing the winners in 30 different categories such as favorite on-screen team, favorite animal show and favorite action star.

Among the top nominees this year are the vampire hits “True Blood” and “The Twilight Saga: New Moon”.

Queen Latifah will grace the show with a musical number. She’s also assigned the task to welcome celebs such as Steve Carell, Carrie Underwood, LL Cool J, Sacha Baron Cohen, Sandra Bullock and Taylor Swift.

Cobra Starship, Nicole Scherizinger, and Mary J. Blige are among the performers in the awards night.

“New Moon” is nominated for favorite movie, and its stars Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner are up for favorite on-screen team, and favorite actress and actor; Lautner is vying for breakout movie actor.

HBO’s “True Blood” meanwhile is nominated for favorite TV obsession and sci-fi TV show, and Anna Paquin is up for TV drama actress.

Among the celebrity presenters on Wednesday’s awards night include Lautner and Kellan Lutz, as well as Jessica Alba, Mariah Carey, Keith Urban, Ashton Kutcher, Jackie Chan and George Lopez.
