AT&T has officially dropped Tiger Woods, after Gillette and Accenture have stopped their advertisements that feature the golf star.
Apparently, someone at AT&T realized that the golfer known for sending naughty text messages to various mistresses may not be the best person to endorse their cell phone service plans. Now, the communications giant has decided to sever all ties with Tiger Woods, without an official explanation.
AT&T’s logo has been stuck on Woods’ golf bag for years. The company has also been the main sponsor of the annual PGA tournament that Woods hosts. Meaning, this business split will affect Tiger Woods the most, particularly once he returns to golfing with a new brand.
