Christmas came early for Rapper T.I. (Clifford Harris) who has been released from prison to a halfway house, while serving his 366 day sentence.
T.I. will be allowed to transfer to a halfway house for the remainder of his prison sentence, after pleading guilty to gun charges. The rapper reached a plea bargain after being charged owning two silencers and three machine guns. He is set to be released on March 26, 2010.
T.I.’s attorney Steve Sadow said, “They decided that three months in a halfway house would assist him with reentering society.” Meaning, he’ll be allowed to have contact with family and even be able to leave the house during the day. However, once T.I. finishes his sentence on March 26, he still h as to complete 500 hours of community service and 23 hours of home confinement.
