Taylor Lautner is teaming up with his father on his next film, an untitled action film to be produced under their own production company “Tailor Made Entertainment.”

The New Moon star Taylor Lautner, who formed a production company with his father, will be starring in an untitled project described by Variety.com as “a teenage version of Taken.”

Lautner’s father, Dan Lautner, will be a producer for the film, the first under their Tailor Made Entertainment label, which they formed to produce movie and TV projects.

In the upcoming film, Taylor will portray an elite military soldier discharged after an injury. He then goes to college and joins a group of friends on a trip to Cancun, where his companions were kidnapped and he saves the day by taking the law into his own hands and staging a rescue attempt.

Aside from this film, Taylor Lautner will also be working on the superhero film “Max Steel” and will appear in the Garry Marshall ensemble “Valentine’s Day” with rumored girlfriend Taylor Swift. As for the Twilight franchise, the third film (The Twilight Saga: Eclipse” have wrapped filming a few weeks ago and will be released in June, while the fourth book “Breaking Dawn” is slated for late 2010.
