With Sundance only a month away, a teaser trailer of the upcoming Dakota Fanning and Kristen Stewart film “The Runaways” have just landed on the web.

As the teaser’s narrator says, “In 1975, rock was a man’s world until…” Joan Jett and Lita Ford took the world by storm in the seventies with their bad girl rebel band, “The Runaways.”

Stewart plays Joan Jett in the indie biopic, Scout Taylor-Compton plays Lita Ford and Stella Maeve plays Sandy West.. Also starring on the film is Kristen’s New Moon co-star Dakota Fanning, who portrays Cherie Churrie. According to some reports, “The Runaways” is focused on the relationship between Joan and Cherie.
