Twilight fans has been waiting/campaigning for an SNL moment from Robert Pattinson, but although there’s no plan yet for SNL to give RPattz a night of hosting duties, Taylor Lautner will be the first of the three Twilight lead stars to host the long-running show.

On December 12, Saturday, Taylor Lautner will be hosting the Saturday Night Live with musical guest Bon Jovi. Expect plenty of “Twilight” and werewolf jokes, particularly because Taylor Lautner played the major role on “New Moon” as Rob took a step back as the storyline requires.

When Taylor Swift recently hosted SNL she gave Taylor Lautner a wink and blew him a kiss during her opening monologue. As Lautner take his turn, it’s quite possible that SNL writers will be throwing in a few Taylor Swift references.
