“New Moon” may be over and “Twi-hards” are waiting for “Eclipse,” but that doesn’t mean Kristen Stewart will be sitting silently in between installments. In fact, she’d be seen working as a stripper at Sundance!
Kristen will star in the independent film “Welcome to the Rileys,” a drama set to hit the waves at the 2010 Sundance Film Festival. The film revolves around a 15-year old stripper who seeks a new life after living with a couple played by James Gandolfini and Melissa Leo.
“It’s an independent movie that nobody would normally see,” KStew explains. “Now it’s like, ‘Oh let’s go see Bella in this stripper movie-it’ll be crazy!’ Working with James Gandolfini and Melissa Leo, who is just incredible, was the most fruitful life-changing experience on a movie that I’ve ever had.”
“It was just the hardest subject matter I’ve ever had to deal with,” she comments about her role in the movie. “I play a very broken young girl who is a runaway. She’s a street kid. She’s working in a strip club and James Gandolfini’s character is just dead inside as she is-and they wake each other up.”
