Move over Dr. Love! John Mayer’s here to do your thing!

The 32-year old musician has a new job: reuniting old lovers. And his first case was to bring forlorn lovers Lindsay Lohan and Samantha Ronson back together-successfully.

John and the exes were at Butter, a New York City nightclub on Monday night, and he made it a point to go back and forth between tables and talk things out with the two.

LiLo and SamRo were together for two years, but split just last April.

After shuttling in between groups, Sam was found in the same table as Lindsay and John, and the two started talking and laughing.

Sam did a bit of deejaying, and Lindsay watched, smiling. According to a witness, “Lindsay seemed happier than she has in ages.”

Well, this isn’t the first time Mayer acted as Dr. Love. He already gave a few bits of advice back at his “Saturday Night Live” stint, lecturing some valuable points for girls of all ages to remember.

“You have to value yourself,” he said. “You’re beautiful and smart. Why should you settle for someone you have to fix?”
