ABC announced that the sixth and final season of “Lost” will kick off with a two-hour premiere on February 2, 2010 at 9-11 pm.

For the premiere, Lost will begin at 8 pm for the recap special, followed by the two-hour season premiere. The following week, “Lost” will settle into its regular Tuesday-9pm slot.

The press release given by ABC also included the list of actors who will be receiving full-time storylines this season. ABC confirms that Naveen Andrews (Sayid), Nestor Carbonell (Richard), Michael Emerson (Ben), Jeff Fahey (Frank) Matthew Fox (Jack), Jorge Garcia (Hurley), Josh Holloway (Sawyer), Daniel Dae Kim (Jin), Yunjin Kim (Sun), Ken Leung (Miles), Evangeline Lilly (Kate), Terry O’Quinn (Locke), and Zuleikha Robinson (Ilana) will be back as series regular status.

Emilie de Ravin will also be back full-time as Claire, after a one-season break. Not mentioned in the press release, but confirmed to return on a guest-star and/or recurring basis, are Elizabeth Mitchell (Juliet), Ian Somerhalder (Boone), Rebecca Mader (Charlotte), Dominic Monaghan (Charlie), Henry Ian Cusick (Desmond), and Katey Sagal (Helen). Of course, this list will no doubt grow as the season progresses.
