Who’s responsible for the supposed Robert Pattinson-Kristen Stewart love affair? It’s not actually the “Twilight” saga, but the first installment’s director, Catherine Hardwicke. She says that she took the effort in knowing whether Rob and Kristen have the chemistry-to the point that she had to take them to her bedroom.

According to the director, the first step RPattz had to take in order to bag the role of Edward Cullen was to-kiss Kristen.

As history put it, Rob and Kristen moved on to become an on-screen couple, but Catherine also says that to have them release the chemistry was really awkward. “I’m like, ‘OK, I know you guys just met and everything, but… you’re really gonna kiss!” she recalls.

But aside from being the haven for Rob and Kristen, Catherine says it was also the same place where the two first met up with Taylor Lautner, today’s hottest werewolf.
