Jon Gosselin is probably the most infamous celebrity dad today-he’s marriage with estranged wife Kate failed on national TV, he couldn’t get his act together with current girlfriend Hailey Glassman, and now he’s being sued by the network that actually made him a star. And what’s he’s latest move now? Filing a countersuit against TLC.

Jon counter sues TLC for having his career and image as a reality star damaged.

The suit claims that the network would not let the 32-year old octo-dad for making public appearances and host events for pay. It also claims that TLC reached out to various media companies and urged them not to hire Jon for their own shows.

According to his lawyer, Mark Jay Heller, “their behavior has caused Jon great anguish and it has caused him financial losses. They had a cadre of lawyers so they had a one-sided agreement.”

Aside from damaging his reputation, Jon also claims that the network owes him over $175,000 for the “Jon and Kate Plus 8″ episodes which have already been aired. His contract with the network signed on April 28, 2008, the celebrity dad was to receive $22,500 for every 30-minute episode and $40,000 for one-hour specials.

As previously reported, TLC has filed charges of breach of contract against Gosselin for appearing in shows and events for other companies without their permission.

Heller meanwhile says that the lawsuit is “weak, feeble and baseless.”
