We are all excited about the coming of ‘New Moon,’ the latest installment of ‘The Vampire Saga,’ and we’ve all been hearing various stories involving the movie’s two hot leading men, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner. But they’re not the only hunks who had crazy encounters with their fans-even hottie Kellan Lutz has his own moment to share.

“The craziest thing is (one) fan asked if she could handcuff herself to me, and I was like, ‘Yeah, of course!’” tells the ‘Twilight’ hunk in an interview with AccessHollywood. “I’m so quick to answer and she is like,’Cha-ching!’ as the clunking (of the handcuffs). I was like, ‘Hey could I have the key?’”

Aside from being handcuffed, Kellan, who’s known to fans as Emmett Cullen, also discussed about the safety precautions the cast has taken on the set of ‘New Moon’-that they don’t really help control the rabid fans.

‘It’s really kind of funny because we have security guards on set, and I’m usually bigger than them,” joked the vampire hunk.

Meanwhile, actress Nikki Reed, who plays the role of Kellan’s wife, Rosalie in the movie, revealed that she became a victim of excessive hugging coming from some male Twi-hard fans.

“There were two boys that sat outside our apartment complex, and they asked us for hugs on a daily basis,” she revealed. “It was very strange… the first time it was sweet…there’s Twi-Boys, that’s awesome! And then like 15 minutes later I am coming back (from) the market and it’s like, it’s Dora (from) ‘Finding Nemo.’ It was like, ‘Hi, can I have a hug again? It’s like I hadn’t just seen (them).”

‘New Moon’ is due in theaters on November 20.
