Los Angeles, CA.- The drama of reality TV has never been good thanks to Jon Gosselin’s unending stunts of embarrassments. And now that TLC’s pushing through with the lawsuit they filed against him, the network is expected to call on his girlfriend Hailey Glassman and Michael Lohan to appear in court.
According to court documents, Maryland’s Circuit Court of Montgomery County has now granted the motions of TLC’s lawyers to subpoena Glassman, Lohan, Jon’s manager Michael Heller, his lawyer Mark Heller, talent agent Matthew Kirschner, and bodyguard Thomas Meinelt. Their court appearances will be in tune to the breach of contract case filed by TLC against the father of eight for allegedly not fulfilling his responsibilities as an exclusive employee of the network.
The bases of the allegations include his guest appearance on other shows for pay, as well as his unauthorized spoilers about the show, ‘Jon & Kate Plus 8.’
His lawyer Mark Jay Heller, previously said that the suit is a ‘baseless action,’ and that Jon’s contract with the network is ‘against Public Policy’ and ‘grossly overreaching and restrictive.’
Jon has been the star of the famed reality TV show ‘Jon & Kate Plus 8,’ which gained further popularity for his marital turmoil with estranged wife Kate. The two have now filed for divorce.
TLC has just announced recently that their show will be renamed ‘Kate Plus Eight,’ with Kate on the lead, and Jon with rather reduced television appearances.
