Reports say that Jon Gosselin and his semi-single girlfriend Hailey Glassman have already broken up last week, and perhaps their joint interview on Entertainment Tonight has caused their bitter relationship to end.

“We’re going to take a break and decide,” Jon said. “We’ll let Hailey decide on what she wants to do… my life is so hectic right now I have to concentrate on my own decisions… maybe she wants to get a job. Maybe she wants to date other people. Maybe she wants to experience life? Live on her own and do her own things. I don’t know. If I was 22, I would probably want a break too, because it is so much.”

Hailey however retorts by revealing that whenever she wants to break up, Jon cries.

“As hard as it is for us, he needs to go handle his stuff, be with his family and handle his divorce, and I need to go and be a 22-year old and get my life back,” she explains.

According to Jon, he has to say goodbye to his girlfriend for the sake of her happiness, particularly on the times she feels that he is “emotionally abusing” her.

On the course of the interview, both Jon and Hailey were able to establish the fact that they have to end the relationship for their own sake, but again they argue about all the media hype and their whole relationship being public.

“I do love you, and you tell me you love me-we would love each other and we want to be with each other, but it’s not healthy!” Hailey shouts.

Later on, Hailey opens about Jon’s kids, an issue which outrages the father of eight.

“I’m not talking about this,” he says, then walks out in the middle of the interview, leaving Hailey on the set.
