Los Angeles, CA. – Mel Gibson finally materialized his status as “Octo-Mel,” after girlfriend Oksana Grigorieva gives birth to a baby girl.

According to RadarOnline, Gibson and Grigorieva welcomed their newborn child arrived a few weeks earlier than the expected. The Russian singer was scheduled to give birth on December.

The baby girl is Gibson’s eighth child; he has seven children from estranged wife, Robyn. He and Robyn have been separated for “three years,” he says in an interview with Jay Leno a few months earlier.

Gibson and Griogerieva are reportedly engaged, but the singer denied such reports and stated that she and the actor have no plans yet to tie the knot when she interviewed in a British talk show back in September.

The newborn daughter is Grigorieva’s second child; she has a 12-year old son with actor Timothy Dalton.
