Ryan Seacrest’s lawyers got a temporary restraining order against the alleged stalker who was arrested at the E! building today.

Ryan’s lawyer Blair Berk filed a restraining order, which asks Chidi Uzomad to stay 100 yards away from the American Idol/radio host. Uzomah has been ordered to stay away of Ryan’s office, home and vehicle. He was also ordered never to contact Seacrest, either directly or indirectly.

Apparently, Uzomah is allegedly a danger to Seacrest. According to E! News, Ryan’s lawyers are so afraid that Uzomah may endanger Seacrest’s life that they “moved quickly so LAPD Threat Management detectives could serve Uzomah with the TRO while he’s still being interrogated at the jail.”

Last month, Chidi was convicted of three misdemeanors after attacking Ryan’s bodyguard at a hospital in Orange County. He had a knife in his pocket. Uzomah pled guilty to three misdemeanors and was placed on probation. One term of probation — stay away from Ryan. The D.A. is now considering whether to ask the judge to violate Uzomah’s probation.

Earlier this month, Uzomah also showed up at a radio station in Burbank looking for Ryan.

Earlier today, after showing up at the E! building in Los Angeles, Uzomah was taken into custody and was discovered to be carrying a knife.
