Adam Lambert has released the cover of his upcoming debut album with a super glam theme.
Lambert’s first album, “For Your Entertainment” will be released on Nov. 23. But right before he headed on to watch the ‘This is It’ premiere, Adam posted on his Twitter page “Glam is Back!”
The cover features Lambert with blue hair, wearing black fingerless gloves, an air-brushed face, a cosmic space background and a “Purple Rain” inspired font.
Yahoo! Music described the album of last year’s American Idol runner-up as “a beauty shot snapped by Andy Warhol in some glitter-dusted private party room at Studio 54.”
Entertainment Weekly predicts a win for Lambert’s debut album saying, “Glambert nation collectively wipes its brow, catches its breath, and attempts to unlock its eyes from Adam’s hypnotic gaze” while waiting for the release. In an earlier interview with EW, Adam Lambert described his sound “as if a ’70s time capsule blasted off into space and you’re watching it through a holographic filter… That’s my big vision.”
The Houston Chronicle reported that the album is said to include collaborations with Linda Perry, Ferras, Lady Gaga, Pink, Rob Cavallo and Ryan Tedder.
