Mom of the JoBroas Denise Jonas has revealed that her son’s side project is called “Nick Jonas and the Administration” and he won’t be working with his two other brothers.

Earlier this month, rumors surfaced that Nick Jonas was working on a solo album, aside from his family act ‘The Jonas Brother.’ Although Nick has neither denied or confirmed the rumor, it was his mom that spilled the beans. She told Parade.com, “Nick is working on a solo act — it’s called Nick Jonas and the Administration. Shhh! He’s at the photo shoot for the album cover right now.”

The rumor started when E! News’ Ken Baker tweeted that he had heard from inside sources Nick was busy working on his own music. Baker has since removed two of the tweets, leaving only the one that said the JoBros were not breaking up. Baker wrote, “A source tells me: Nick Jonas secretly working on solo album. May tour alone in 2010. Will you see him? This time 4 real. They deny it, but it’s in the works. JB is not ending or even breaking. Just a side project between JB albums.”

This isn’t shocking news. Apparently, Nick has told MTV News over the summer that he’s doing his own thing without his older brothers. He talked about Northwestern University, saying, “I did go see the college, just to go check it out. I’ve always been interested in going to school in Chicago. I love Chicago. It’s one of my favorite cities. And it was great just to see it. And that’s where it’s at right now. It’ll be a while before I end up going anyway, because we’re obviously very busy.”
