Kourtney Kardashian and her boyfriend Scott Disick have found out that they’ll be having a son.

Kourtney, the eldest of the Kardashian sisters, is expecting her first child with Scott Disick around Christmas.

A source close to the couple tells People, “Kourt and Scott are psyched about having a baby, but having a boy is really exciting for them. She can’t wait to buy all sort of boy’s clothing.”

In an interview with E! News Kourtney said: “A boy is definitely needed in this family! Scott and I are thrilled to add a little boy to the bunch. Bruce and Rob told me it would be a boy the whole time!”

With the gender of the baby known, Kourtney can now decorate her nursery a bit easier. Earlier this year, Kourtney was quoted saying, “I just want to work with someone and make it perfect. I have a stylish vision of a room in my head.”

Now, the 30-year-old Kourtney will be preparing for her baby show scheduled on November 14 at her mom’s home in LA. She explained, “I’m sure my mom has been planning this since I was little. She is big on showers, so I’m sure mine will be a big event.”
