Miley Cyrus, one of the most popular celebrity Twitters, has decided to delete her account, simply with a post referencing Australian actor Liam Hemsworth’s. As a result, fans of the Disney star have rallied to bring her back with the #mileycomeback burning Tweets from everywhere.
On Wednesday, Miley Cyrus deleted her Twitter account, which was followed by over 2 million people. In her last Tweet, Cyrus wrote that her reported boyfriend (and co-star in the upcoming film “The Last Song”) Liam Hemsworth didn’t have a Twitter account, and was encouraging her to get rid of hers.
Her last post: “FYI Liam doesn’t have a twttr & he wants ME 2 delete mine w/ gd reason” Shortly thereafter, she disappeared from the Twitter world completely.
After her decision, fans of the teen star made their displeasure known, flooding Twitter with pleas for her return with the hashtag “#mileycomeback,” which remains the #1 trending topic on the site. With thousands of 140-character tweets asking Miley Cyrus to come back to Twitter, several fake Cyrus accounts were created that all claim to be legit.
