Jon Gosselin is fighting back. After TLC removed his name from the title of his family’s reality show Tuesday, the 32-year-old dad-of-8 via his attorney Mark J. Heller has sent TLC a pair of letters stating that all filming and production crews are banned from his family home in Wernersville, Pennsylvania.
The letter stated: “Effective immediately, no production crews are to enter Jon’s family home for any reason. In the event that anyone enters the marital property, Jon Gosselin will notify the local authorities to effectuate police action against any trespassers.”
Jon states that he owns half of their Pennsylvania home and still has joint custody over their kids, which gives him the right to make decisions about their welfare.
The letters were dated Tuesday, the same day TLC announced it was focusing on Kate’s journey as a single mom and changing the name of the show to “Kate Plus 8,” which Jon says he only found out by reading about it in the press. Now, Jon believes it is not the best interest of his kids’ welfare to continue with the show’s production.
Jon claims that he has been in discussion for weeks with the network about pulling the plug on the show. Meanwhile, Jon will be on a press tour, beginning on Thursday at Larry King Live.
The revamped TLC show “Kate Plus 8” airs Mondays at 9/8c.
