Jon Gosselin is being cut off from his family’s show. With all the rumors of womanizing and quite some bad life choices recently  – that he admitted on in Touch Magazine – TLC was probably just waiting for a good time to pull the plug on Jon.

Jon made a statement on In Touch magazine saying, “I regret my conduct since Kate and I separated. I used poor judgment in publicly socializing with other women so soon. I would like to get back with Kate as a partner in parenting.”

TLC president Eileen O’Neill said in a statement, “Given the recent changes in the family dynamics, it only makes sense for us to refresh and recalibrate the program to keep pace with the family. The family has evolved and we are attempting to evolve with it.”

The show, which was renamed “Kate Plus Eight” begins in November 2, where viewers could see the livers of the Gosselin kids and will put a focus on Kate as a single mom.

Just recently, Kate confessed that the show might be coming to an end. She explained, “With rating falling, this might be the last season of ‘Jon and Kate Plus 8,’ I’m not sure yet.”

Last week, the show only had 1.7 million viewers, as compared with 9.8 million viewers during the Season 5 premiere last May. Apparently, TLC believes Kate can increase the ratings on her own. What do you think of this new set-up?
