Casey Wilson and Michaela Watkins are both dropped from Saturday Night Live, just a few days after former Upright Citizen Brigade troupers Nasim Pedrad and Jenny Slate joined the SNL cast.

Although NBC did not comment on the issue, Watkins made a statement emailed to thecomicscomic.com, saying “I will say to you now, though, that I had a a great time there. [I] met some of the most truly talented and fantastic people . . . and I can honestly say I don’t have any regrets I can think of right now.”

According to NBC insiders, the contracts of both Wilson and Watkins were ‘year to year,’ so the two may have an idea that their contracts might not be renewed this season.
