With autopsy reports stating that Michael Jackson’s death was a homicide, it was expected that Joe Jackson would be making statements soon afterward. Now, the Jackson patriarch has said that he was unaware that “there was foul play done.”
Joe told the Today show, “I didn’t know all this was going on,” as he referred to Michael’s drug use. He added, “I’m not angry, I’m mad … Because I didn’t know all this was going on.”
When Joe said his family is now seeking for “justice to be done,” he was asked if he wanted criminal charges to be brought against those found responsible for Michael’s death. Joe responded with “I don’t know.”
When asked if he sees his grandchildren and how often they get together, Joe Jackson simply replied, “Of course, I’m their grandfather. I see them enough.”
