The autopsy results of Michael Jackson have been released and his death has been rules as homicide “due to intoxication by anaesthetic.”

The King of Pop died in June from cardiac arrest at his rented home in Los Angeles. According to the report, the powerful anaesthetic Propofol and Lorazepam were the “primary drugs responsible” for Jackson’s death.

Police have interviewed Jackson’s personal physician Conrad Murray, but he has not been named as a suspect. Two months have passed after Jackson’s death, but Murray has strenuously denied any wrongdoing.

The coroner’s report also states, “The cause of death was established as acute propofol intoxication. The manner of death has been ruled: Homicide.” The report also said other drugs, including Midazolam, Diazepam, Lidocaine, Lorazepam and Ephedrine - were detected in MJ’s body.

Lethal levels of Propofol were judged to be the cause of Jackson’s death. Jackson’s doctor had previously told police he had been giving the singer the drug as part of his treatment for insomnia, but said he had been concerned Jackson was becoming addicted to the drug and had been trying to wean him off.
