It has been almost 2 months since Michael Jackson died at age 50. According to two sources, the King of Pop will be laid to rest on August 29, the day MJ was supposed to celebrate his 51st birthday. However, the location where Jackson will be buried continues to be debated by the Jacksons.

Joe Jackson tells New York Daily News that MJ will be buried at LA’s Forest Lawn Cemetery. New York Post, on the other hand, reports that the Jackson family is still thinking of burying Michael in an unmarked grave to avoid potential disturbance or desecration. Jermaine Jackson is reportedly pushing to make Neverland into a Graceland-like tourist attraction, while other members of the family are against the idea stating that Michael came to hate the place after the 2003 raid on the ranch after his child molestation allegations.

Michael Jackson’s body is reportedly stored in a freezer at Forest Lawn. The results of Jackson’s autopsy are being withheld by the LA Coroner’s Office pending completion of LAPD’s investigation into his death.
