Investigators have now returned samples from Michael Jackson’s body to his family, so expect the burial of the King of Pop to come anytime soon.
Michael Jackson will finally be laid to rest. A source close to the Jackson family said that Forest Lawn is the top choice, since it is near Michael Jackson’s grandmother, but this hasn’t been confirmed yet.
For the last six weeks since news broke that Michael Jackson has died, his body has been temporarily interred at Forest Lawn Memorial Park and Mortuary in the Hollywood Hills. The main cause of delay in burying Jackson was due to the coroner’s investigation, which had the Jacksons waiting to return samples of MJ’s braind.
Now that everything has been returned and the autopsy reports are almost complete, the Jacksons will now be preparing for the burial. However, like anything the Jacksons do, the family will have to get together to discuss details of the burial. Will they make it into a public event once again? Or keep it all-in-the-family with a solemn burial?
As of now, Janet Jackson, Tito Jackson and Joe Jackson are out of town, so a family meeting may be delayed as well.
