Believe it or not, it has been nine months since Britney Spears has been out of trouble and even out of the headlines. Now, Britney’s dad Jamie is reportedly planning to ask a judge to review the terms of Brit’s conservatorship in November. Should the judge decide that Britney has been a responsible adult, she can regain control of her business and personal affairs.
The conservatorship last October 28 gave Jamie Spears the power to take over Britney’s life. The decision over the pop star’s conservatorship came after Britney had several high-profile bad-behavior incidents and hospitalization, which led to the judge’s ruling.
Britney is still in the middle of her world tour, but will end around November, just in time for her father’s request for the conservatorship review. Jamie is planning to ask the court to review the terms of his conservatoship once the tour ends. However, the judge will be the one deciding if Britney is indeed ready to manage her own life.
Some say that Britney’s conservatorship could have ended earlier, but some of the contracts of her tour’s vendors specifically stated that she needs to be under her father’s control throughout the tour.
